Constantine (Costa) T. Anestos
Costa has approximately 10 years of compliance and consulting experience in the tax, estate planning, and divorce practice areas. Costa works mainly with high net worth individuals, closely-held businesses, real estate and business partnerships, and Estate and Trust fiduciaries, as well as other attorneys and professionals to cultivate creative planning and relevant tax strategies to best serve the Firm's clients. In addition to his experience with the tax side of transactions, Costa has also practiced law in tax, business transaction, real estate, and estate planning. These valuable experiences give Costa the ability to help clients understand and appreciate not only the tax but also the legal aspects of their business and financial matters. Costa joined Durbin Bennett in 2005.
Prior to joining the firm, Costa worked at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in the international tax and business consulting practice areas in Los Angeles, California.
Costa received his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law, where he graded onto the Baylor Law Review by being in the top 15% of his class. He graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Accounting and Finance. Costa is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Austin Young Lawyers Association and is active in professional, business, and civic groups. He currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for VSA Arts of Texas.
